Thumbs up Hi from WNC.

Hi Y'all from Western North Carolina. This is Rick and Michele Shoestock. We bought a burgundy metalic 2008 G6 GT Convert about six weeks ago. I had chrome lower front grills installed and we can't wait for spring to go topless. You could say we are Pontiac nuts. We own a Red 1998 Grand Prix GT Coupe 3800 about to turn over 100k. We own a Green 1948 Streamliner Sedan with 80k original miles in AACA Senior show condition. A black 1946 Streamliner Coupe AACA Junior. Yes, we love Pontiacs. Our house is decorated with Pontiac advertising, neon, show awards, etc. Is anyone else from here going to Dayton, Ohio in July 7-11 for the POCI/GTOAA Co-Vention? We plan to drive the 46 North on I-75 out of Knoxville and could meet/convoy to Cincinatti. www.poci.org We are members of the AACA www.aaca.org and the Early Times POCI Chapter ETC http://www.earlytimeschapter.org/ . Thanks.

G6 Photo

I can't get the G6 photo small enough to fit under the 19.5 minimum so I thought I'd reply with it attached. Why did we buy a G6? Besides being a Pontiac which is almost the only brand we choose to drive, it's front wheel drive which is good for all-weather, good fuel economy and a hardtop convertible to enjoy. All we need now is chrome wheels. Lets see if the photo will attach. Thanks. -Rick

Thanks Mike, I just wish it came with chrome wheels like your's. I wonder what the logic was when they put the wheels on, whatever came next down the line? I guess we'll wait until she wears out a set of tires then get new chrome wheels and new tires at the same time. At least the 18's are easy to clean. I wish I had a set of 18's on the 98' Grand Prix.

I thought the GT came with the chrometech wheels....???
I believe that is part of the GT package.

The wheels you have are actually an upgrade.

Maybe the Vert's are diferent.

Ive been a pontiac fan since day one as my first car...was a 67 GTO.

MODS:
Crab Intakes CAB, MPD Ram Air hood, Custom exhaust,
WAMS High Performance Tune and a whole lot more....

Yes, that is us with our antiques. They are all show and no-go, 0-60 in 15 minutes! But we enjoy preserving them as original as possible.

Any chance you might be going to Dayton, OH in July for the POCI/GTOAA Co-Vention? I hope to go if fuel prices stay low.
