G6 speed sensor

Hello! Looking for info on my G6. Having issues with erratic shifting and speedometer fluctuations. Changed vehicle speed sensor, worked fine for maybe 2 weeks then started same symptoms. Changed again, did nothing. Is it possible that a wheel speed sensor could cause the same problems? If so, is it true that I have to change the whole bearing assembly? Hope not, this girl isn't made of money lol. Any help would be appreciated.

Wheel speed sensors only affect ABS/traction control. In that system the sensors outputs are compared to determine if system engagement is required.
Vehicle speed is from output shaft speed sensor/transmission.
Any lights or codes?

It's showing codes for a rear passenger wheel speed sensor and for oxygen sensor. Nothing related to transmission. Engine light stays on, traction control and abs lights come and go. First time I replaced the vss it worked perfectly for a cpl weeks, second time didn't help a bit.
