i wouldnt

I dont see why any 2010 should already have over 11k miles on it. and 19k is too much money for a 2.4L. I paid 10K for mine and mine is a 3.9L v6 with a custom sound kit. lol....no used pontiac is worth 19k.

Because 2010 are all fleet leases, I have driven a bunch of 2010's but from what I remember they been all enterprises.

I just looked at the carfax for the car and sure enough it was a rental.

my thought would be to research what kind of mods you want to do vs whats availible for the 2.4

Not a bargain

I think you could do a lot better than that. I just checked cars.com and found that the car you are looking at is the second most expensive in that area. Mind you it is low miles but there was another one for $1,000 less with 2,000 fewer miles. By the way, there are a few V6's available in the area for less. You might be a lot happier with the bigger engine.

I paid $14500 for my 2009 GT with 24,000 miles last December. You should shop around some more, and try to get some wholesale values for the cars that interest you. The downside is you don't have a lot from which to choose in your area. If I were going after that particular car my starting offer would be $15000.

I appreciate all the feedback... I just got back from the dealership... I talked them down to $14,900... I don't believe I could beat that price for that car. If I had more time (gotta drive 230 miles a day for work for the next 2 weeks.)

So now that I bought it... Whats next... I want to replace the the grill, Wheels, and add a spoiler... any suggestions.. Also, any websites to start with on looking for basic engine mods?

Congratulations!!! and Welcome.. Ummm....i dont think there are aftermarket grilles for the 09.5, Spoiler? I would get the 09.5 oem spoiler. Wheels? search around the members rides section there are some nice ones out there. what size you thinking about going?

Im looking at possibly 17" for now. Unless you all have a suggestion otherwise. What about an air intake... K&N's site has a filter but not an intake for the 2010. Will the '09 work? I guess the biggest question is.. with $500, what would you do first?

Well thats no good... So am I wasting my money trying to beef this little 2.4 up a little. I want it to look decent, and have a bit more power... again, not racing so... I would just prefer a little more power and good (24 or better) gas mileage.

A performance exhaust (which you may have to get a custom one made) and a cold air intake (CAI) will help a bit. There are reports that the extra air flow provided by a CAI may cause the computer to throw a code for the 2.4 engines.

No matter what you do, it is not going to be a speed demon. Still, it's not exactly the slowest car out there for its size and displacement.

That's why you got the 4-banger with the 6-speed. Drive it sanely and you should get pretty decent mileage.

Yea, right now Im averaging about 26 miles-per-gallon highway... not sure about city yet, havn't really had time to try that out.

As for the CAI... if you can tell me one of two things... 1) Is there a CAI for a 2010 G6 with a 2.4? If so, where, bc I can't find one. and 2) If there isn't one, will a 2009 match up right?

You might want to try some fuel injector cleaner, and maybe better gas because I have a 2005 with a 3.5L V6 and I get around 30 highway. Best was 37 on a long trip. Then again, I don't push it much, keep my tires properly inflated and keep the oil changed.

I also switched to full synthetic oil, but that just lets me drive farther between oil changes.

I think Lampoon is still making CRAB intakes. Might want to check that out.

Modifications:
Aftermarket Exhaust system w/chrome tip. (came with car)
Red ZZ Performance Strut Tower Bar.
Pioneer DEH-P5200HD CD Receiver (HD Radio).
Metra 99-3303 adapter and Steering wheel control adapter.
LED bulbs in climate control panel.
Moda MD9 wheels, Falken Ziex ZE 912 tires.
