recessed/not recessed

this is prolly going to sound stupid but I cant find anything on this.. but im searching on pfyc.com for the recessed grilles... when you select the menu options, for the top grilles it says not recessed... whats the difference between recessed and not recessed

recessed = grilles aren't as "flush" with the body, they are sunken in and look great. not worth the price imho but they look fly for sure. one way to notice the difference is the recessed grilles have a larger bottom border (chrome part of the stock upper grilles) which reaches from where the bumper starts to where the grilles reach in toward the radiator...

like i said.. i figured it'd be a dumb question, i just didnt know why when i picked recessed grilles why NOT recessed grilles would even be an option!! thank you guys

Ya, if you have the cash get the recessed grill, they look great

Had a 07 GTP coupe, traded in for my GTI....

You can usually find them a LOT cheaper on ebay. Just need to be patient.

Mods: GT-R exhaust, CRABs O3 w/FPU, 35% tint, 5000K HID lows/fogs, upper/lower recessed grilles, Racingline strut bar, concept darts, white LEDs everywhere

The upper recessed looks very good and gives a meaner look, the lower is nice as well but not as noticeable

Had a 07 GTP coupe, traded in for my GTI....

Im not sure where yall get that these things are so overpriced...??
