How to Change Strut, Mount, And Spring

First you need to remove strut from vehicle.

Click for How To

here is the strut removed from vehicle

You'll need a set of spring compressors. If you dont have them most auto part stores rent them out.

Attach to spring and compress

Once compressed remove top nut

And here ya go, from here you can change mount, strut, or spring,

Reassemble and release compressors, make sure the spring stays in place.

Here is mine with a new strut mount installed

I bought the complete ready to drop in whole strut; which included the shock, upper bearing, coil spring, boot, and damper. Ebay $180 for the set. Three nuts, two mount bolts, a sway bar link mount, and its ready to bolt back in. I didn't want to mess with the widow maker spring compressor.
