2005 G6 radio

I am trying to replace my radio with a JVC, I wired up the harness with a interface in it. hooked it up and nothing, would not come on I started looking though the interface manual and see it says the switched power does not come from the factory harness but a relay not sure where it is or if the manual is mistaken the interface is a scosche GM3000sw
