05-06 3.5 WAMS Tune for sale!

Bought this for my 2005 Pontiac G6 and sold the car a week later. Never even had it installed unfortunately It would need to be sent back to be reprogrammed, but for someone who cannot send in their own ECM, this is a great option! I paid $400 for it total and willing to let go of it for only $100+shipping!! Waitlist for an extra ECM can take up to a couple months!

Asking Price: $75+Shipping[IMG][/IMG]

Here is a link to the WAMS site where I purchased the product.

http://www.whiteautoandmedia.com/ind...hk=1&Itemid=54

The site lists the 100+ changes made to the PCM and here are a few:
• Proprietary extensive fuel and spark mapping for high octane fuels. (Premium Fuel Recommended for best results) Unless of course you opt for the 87 octane version.
• Revised torque management settings allow the 3.5L to get more power to the ground.
• Shift torque managment recalibrated to allow the engine to actually keep some timing in during shifts, the stock calibration had negative timing on some shifts.
• Beta and end users report a significant increase in fuel economy (2+ MPG); your mileage may vary. (91+ Octane calibrations only).

• Raised rev limiter to accommodate the engines new power band (6300 RPM)
• Top Speed limiter completely removed.
• Fan turn on points adjusted slightly for more power and better fuel economy.

Yes, I know what they can all do, but there are different settings that you can personally select. What octane did you opt for? Is it calibrated for intake or exhaust? Etc. I am very interested though, so keep me informed!

You do know it has to be the same model year and trim level to transfer right? Still a smoking deal on the hardware but it'll be $299 to redo it for your vehicle.

Ah! I understand where you're coming from now. I only had it calibrated for intake and 93 octane.

So even though the computer originally can be programmed for an 05-06, the only person who can take advantage of it, is someone with an 05 Base G6?

All tunes that we do are vin locked and have to be transferred. The PCM is actually a different part # for 05's vs 06's (same family though) The transfer terms are same model year and same trim as the calibration changes for both by year and trim.
