2009 G6 steering issue.

I have a 2009 G6 with the 3.5. I was wondering if anyone on here has had the issue I am having. Our car has got to where in rainy conditions sometimes when you come to a stop all the dash lights come on and the steering has no power assist. The kicker is all though all lights come on like the car was shut off its still running. After a few seconds lights go out and everything is fine. First time this happened was after we had the ac compressor replaced last summer, so my first thought was the belt came off. Of course that wasn't the case.
