should bolt to ANY g6 motor... the 3100, 3400, and 3500 are the same block, the 3800 is a GP motor, it came mated to the 3.9L which was the same block as the 3.5L. the 3.6 can't have that different of mounting holes, and was probably offed as a manual in another car's line up since that block was new in 2004.

If there is going to be some sort of cruise (which according to facebook there probably is) i was wondering if 5 people would write on the back of their windows with white window paint KATHRYN, WILL YOU MARRY ME?? I would have a dash camera set up to catch the cars passing me one by one and her reaction. I would in turn pay to have all 5 peoples cars washed at whatever auto wash they prefer. So any 5 guys interested in helping out?
Dude I will totally help. That'd be so epic.

Oh yeah I forgot. Also bolts up to the 3500 LX9

But cmessick is on point id say.

I know the g6 ca.e with 4 cyls right? Didnt think the F40 Would bolt to those. But since I think the 3.6 and 3.9 came with the f40 if im not mistaken... of course it would bolt to that as well.

But yes the 3500 g6 motor can also haz the 6 speed. My cousin has the 3.5

Yeah it should cmessick said it should bolt to any motor in the g6. I just dont know if it would on the 4cyl (if the g6 came in 4cyl)

But all 6 cyl models should be able to bolt it up.

Since I dont own a g6 and havent done much research about them. Im only familiar with the trans bolting to the LG8 3100, LA1 3400, LX9 3500, and L67 3800.

Did my research. Here's a list of all the engines that the f40 will bolt up to. And they sell it for $949.00 brand new with zero miles.

Lol I should have known. He installed the g6 trans in my alero for me. great guy. And yeah thats just the transmission. You want everything from him for the swap (all new from GM, 0 miles) like clutch, cables, custom mounts (atleast my car needed them) gear oil, axles (my car also needed) clutch res etc. Its around 3800 bucks.

But yeah with the g6 trans in my car I had to use g6 axles. And the driver side is 1/4 to long and puts stress on the differential. So you have to trim it. But after that everything works as it should.

Cruisin hit it on the head. Thats where i found it. And with this latest engine problem im thing that trans is gonna have to wait another year or so. Possibly have a bad crankshaft. And if its not that then its just main engine bearings. >
