I like this idea, but I don't think we will ever see a totally RWD Pontiac line. As long as the mainstream family sedans are FWD there will be numerous GM FWD sedans and Pontiac will always have their own clone. A more realistic approach is a FWD midsize sedan with an AWD option for extra performance. The typical buyer of a midsize family sedan (the bulk of the market) doesn't really care about the drive wheels we won't see a change unless a Japanese competitor goes RWD.
RWD does have its place in any true sport coupe and in some large sedans- something Pontiac should always have. Cadillac is the only GM car brand that needs to be totally RWD.
The G5 and Torrent are completely out of place in the Pontiac line and aren't ever going to sell as well as their Chevy badged platform mates.
