Very interesting mailing/e-mail from Pontiac

Yes, Pontiac - I got a card in the mail and also an e-mail offering 4 free oil changes and tire rotations in the next 12 months. Good deal, but what was really intriguing is that it wasn't from GM with the Chevy, Buick, Cadillac and GMC logos, but from Pontiac with the arrowhead logo.

The front of the card says:

At Pontiac,
We want our owners to feel confident. Always.
So if we can give you a world-class ownership experience...
And make you feel valued in every possible way...we will.

And on the inside:

To find a GM Dealer where your vehicle can be serviced,
visit mycertifiedservice.com/pontiacdealers

Now it does of course refer to a "GM Dealer" to get service, and I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be bringing Pontiac back this soon, if at all, but still o_O....

Almost spooky! What's next, a text from your Studebaker-Packard dealer?

I wouldn't trust any dealership with my car for an oil change. I'd rather do it myself, even if they do it for free.

I can go to my local tire shop and get free tire rotations too.

I've never had a problem with free oil changes from dealerships - I wouldn't trust my car at Quicklube or whatever it's called, or any of those 15 minute oil change places though.
