New Forum?

In keeping with Pontiac being the Performance/Excitement division of GM, could we have a forum to post our driving experiences in our G6s? I used to belong to ProbeTalk when I owned a Probe, and there was a section called "Kill Stories" that was great- how the cars smoked or got smoked by other cars, stories about road rage, accidents, mishaps, track days, etc. Made for great reading and a good place to go to vent after a misadventure. I've got 7K on my coupe, and already 2 road trips and several road adventures with other interesting cars.

Wespectfuwwy,

Mike

I think that is a good idea. I like driving experiences more than "racing forum," lets people post all kinds of stories.

I'll think about it. It's the racing stories that I have issues with.

Yeah, I get you. But most of the people here have posted very little about drag racing. Generally speaking, we are a responsible bunch Moreso than the Probers for sure. There was this one young guy who decided to outfit his Probe with "aftermarket" seat heaters. He posted at length about how he rigged 2 heating pads in the seat cushion and seatback. He was very pleased with his ingenuity. His next post was of the pictures he took for the insurance company when his Probe burned to the ground one night while it was parked in his driveway...
A place to post about road trips, track days, snow stories, blowouts, explosions, encounters with the authorities, curve-carving and the like is what I think would be fun to hear about/share in a forum dedicated to the "We Drive Excitement" theme.

Mike
