okay cool. I will definitely look into buying the eagle eyes and just sell my spyders. And dont you have to drill a hole in the panel behine the headlight assembly to get the eagle eyes to fit? its not a problem for me but would be good info before buying them. and yeah i did check the shipping and its outrageous.

I had to make too many modifications to those spyders. I made the work but man you should not have to do that to brand new headlights. I hade to make the opening larger to fit the HIDs and put spacers in there because the blubs were too long. Also they are a pain to adjust because you have to remove the light to do that. No modifications needed on the Eagle eyes. Just put a hole in the dust cap and that was it. They look like the stock headlights. Plus with the spyders, I got all kinds of condensation that drove me bananas! I think they cover the blubs and ballast under warranty. I thought my bulb when out too but it was the ballast so you my want to check that. Just switch some stuff around to see what is still working. Takes a long time for them to send a replacement though so this last time I ordered the new bulbs for the eagles I just ordered some extra just in case since they are so cheap, but the shipping is what gets ya.

I have the eagle eye headlights now ccfl halos. The spyders were not ccfl and not visible at all in the daytime. I current run the 35 watt DDM tuning 6000K on low beam and fogs. They are plenty bright enough for me. As for the 55w HID, from what I read it might be too much for the stock wiring without some modifications. I think some have used them but I wasn't brave enough to. I would say stick with the 35w and adjust them a tad bit higher. If you have the spyders, they are your problem, not the HIDs.
