About twice a week i'll try to turn the car over and i'll get a wer wer wer wer wer wer wer then nothing. After that if I try to turn the car over without giving it a little gas ill get the same thing (almost killed the battery trying to get it to start on its own). But if I tap the gas a little it will start up just fine. Im not completely sure but I think iv'e noticed it occurring the most just after getting gas or when there's a bunch of people around typically a group of girls (I know the latter doesn't make sense from a mechanical prospective but I swear it does). Any way, normally it turns over just fine but when I get that initial fail it will just fail until the battery is dead or I tap the gas on start-up. After I tap the gas to start it I can turn the car right off and turn it over like normal and it will work no problem again.......any ideas?????

you should seclude yourself to only hanging out with dudes! on a more serious note...everyone and their brother is going to tell you to clean your MAF sensor and throttle body, check your air filter and possibly run seafoam through the system so check all that out. check out that easy DIY stuff first and see what happens

Cool thanks! Ill take a look at it today. Any suggestions on what to clean it with? Warm water? WD-40?

I would not recommend using anything but maf sensor cleaning spray. Do not touch the sensor with anything but the spray. They are not inexpensive if you ruin it.

First: checked it for codes? ALWAYS start by checking for codes. Report back with any found.
