Hello all,

I have a 2007 Pontiac G6 with a 3.5l v6 in it i am confused to where the crankshaft sensor is anyone able to help me out here?

Also, after replacing the crank sensor do i have to get the ecm flashed?

Any insight on symptoms of a bad crank sensor would be appreciated.

thanks!

After replacement of the CKP sensor the CKP system variation learn procedure needs to be done using a tech 2.

On the 3.5l, its located on the firewall side of the block.

There's a how-to in the Chiltons for G6.

Without input from the CKP the car will crank but not start. The problem very often is with the harness.
