Same engine bay so I would assume that it could be done. That quaint old 3.5 is quite a bit heavier than the 2.4 engine so I'm pretty sure there will need to be suspension modifications needed.
Did you do this cause I did motor,transmission and wire harness and can't get it to fire it turns over but dosent fireThe 4 cyl and V6 use different transmissions and I don't know if the 4 cyl will bolt onto the v6. Even if it does, I don't know if it will hold up. You'll also need the ECM, BCM and wiring harnesses, all engine mounts and the cooling system and AC components may not be compatible between the two engines. Swaps like these since the 90's are always tough and it helps if you have the donor car so you'll have all the parts you need . It can be done but it will be considerable work. Good luck. Mark
