07 G6

I am a bit confused by the list of changes for the 07 G6; does the new 3.6 engine at 252 hp. replace the 3.9 at 240? If it does how come and if it doesn't why three motors and where does the 3.9 figure in?
Also in one place it lists the 6 speed manual as an option but in another says it is removed. Which is it?
I hope they haven't made the 06 GTP too outdated or slower!

The 3.9L V6 will be part of the 'GT Sport Package' in both Coupe and Sedan. For the GTP, there is only one motor(3.6L DOHC V6). The 6 speed manual is only available with the 'GT Sport Packages'. The '07 G6 GTP will be faster than the '06 G6 GTP with the automatic, but slower than the '06 G6 GTP with the 6 MT.

G6 2007 Problems

Has anyone had problems with there fuel filler tank assembly. I have a G6 2007 and went to get gas and the part where u put the pump in to get fuel had completely shifted over. I was told by the service guy that it looks like a defect. However due to my warranty ending less than 200 miles i had to pay out of pocket. Also due to there not being a current recall. So please let me know if anything like this has happened to anyone out there. Maybe this needs a recall.
