Successfully installed a block heater without tearing the car apart. Scuffed up some skin on the arms and took about 3-1/2 hours to complete.
1 Use a 5/8" allen that will mount on a 1/2" drive ratchet and need about a 3" extension
2 Reach down behnd the alternator, below the exhaust heat shield and insert the allen into the plug - this is the tough part - locating the plug and inserting the wrench
3 Unscrew the plug in the block - very tight clearance
4 Apply the block heater uing 28mm socket and 2" extension on ratchet
5 Attach cord and tie down as needed
Need lots of perserverence - Good luck!
