Hey all, Im new to these forums but ive been ghosting on here for awhile! I own a 2008 G6 GT that i purchased with my own money new, its my first car as well.

Ive had my fair share of learning in this car, one thing is to never take a turn at 45 mph and WOT. That resulted in my spinning out into some1's yard haha.

But anyway i live in colorado so we are high in altitude. Witch leads to my question. My car feels like somedays it performs great and chews through RPM's when i give it some gas. But other days it seems slower to run through the gears when i apply the same amount of peddal push.

Is it something possibly wrong with my car? Or maybe the turning off the TC helps? I just wanna make sure my car is okay and that maybe its a user error rather then my car having issues.

Also, its a pleasure to meet you all! :D

Hi and welcome. High altitude will play hell with your car. High altitude means lower oxygen. You may benifit from a cold air intake (CAI). Not only will the air be cooler but you'll have more of it.
