Hi, I recently purchased a G6 that had been sitting in someone's garage for just about a year or so. Looked it over, everything looked clean and got it started and running. Everything seemed fine. Got it home and looked it over more and realized what I believe is a cylinder head bolt is snapped off, with oil seeping out. It's not sticking out at all so it's inside the block. I can't really afford to take it to a garage and have the head removed. Is there any way I can remove this bolt without causing further damage (if it isn't already too late)? I've seen some people talk about using a flathead screwdriver to turn it out, welding onto it, or drilling it out, but I'm not sure what would actually work since it's about a quarter inch inside.

I believe it's bolt #1 according to the diagrams.

That is not a headbolt... And it's not in the block. That is the head. My 3.9 has the same hole in the head. It's a blind hole used for attaching things like coolant lines and such to the head. It may be full of oil from a leaking valve cover gasket.

Oh my. Well, I greatly appreciate you clearing this up because I was stressing out over it quite a bit. I'm not familiar with this kind of stuff, obviously lol.. WOW. Thank you. SO much.
