Hello all,
I am new here, and new to the g6 world. I recently bought my wife a G6 GT and about 3 days after purchase, on the monsoon radio, it says door open and sounds an alarm...i normally wouldnt care, but this caused me to remove my dome light bulbs and it causes my car alarm to go off...are there any DIY easy solutions, or is it a warranty issue?

lol i would take it right back to the dealership.
sounds like a sensor problem, perhaps a latch on a door is froze,...assuming you live where its cold...if not like i said maybe a sensor.

you could just have turned the dome light off no?...maybe 09s dont have that little ( convenient ) on, door open , off switch on the dome light.
