Nuptup i sure hope that you are not referring to me as your friend. If you are then please don't.
I was trying to help you because I felt that you were rushing things.
So, this is perfect timing then. I was just about to replace the radio, which makes me lose the driver info display for a while. How do I do that in the radio to turn it on before ripping it out?
I quoted the word ripping. I also indicated that I did stand to be corrected. I have not changed these on any of my cars. The reason for the suggestion is that I did not want you nor anyone else for that matter to spend money unnecessarily on a tech 2 diagnostic or the like. You claimed to have done your research but obviously you have missed a few things. I give you this quote "unless I have missed something". Which you did, 1. You did not know about the remote on/off ,and 2 you missed Joey's advice about the extra wire in which he has had to correct you on in the quote below.

I'm not sure about the cluster, but there's no need to run a wire from the radio to the cluster. All you need to do is add one wire to the existing connector on the cluster, and that's for the buttons that's it. I can show you how if u want to ad me on discord or via email. It's a lot easier than you think. And if you come across a different cluster you like, it's plug and play, remove the old one, plug in your new one, and you're all set!
Respectfully submitted,

Hi
Dx ,, the obvious difference the numbers. Our cars are faster, consequently we need bigger numbers .lol. Not really faster but there is 1.62 kms in a mile. Personally, I don’t like it. I switched one of my cars over to it. I find it hard to read (too busy). I will switch it back to the original.
asap
