Would be helpful to us who are gonna go do the same thingThese bulbs are standard 12 volt and have the same base as a standard 3157, but you will see a much faster blink when you put them in. You have to put a bigger load on the brake light wires for them to blink at the normal rate, but it's super easy to do.
Get a pair of 8 Ohm ceramic resistors (the white block style) from Radio shack and wire them across the turn signal +12v and ground on each side. I forgot to mention this because I had put them in for the forst set of LED bulbs I ordered.
I'll post a pic of the correct ones tomorrow and make a quick diagram of how to wire them in.
