I went into a store and left my 09 g6 gt for about an hour. i come outside and try and turn it on and it doesn't turn over at all. the battery works fine and all the lights and radio work. the odometer reads "error" and the radio reads "service traction". any ideas to the problem?
it's very hard to diagnose problems like these because we're not there and not seeing the problem. sorry to tell you but you're probably won't get much help here. get the dealer to scan it and to diagnose the problem.

Service traction means that something happened to your traction control. Your traction control button is down by the center console & shifter on passengers side. Press that button & you will still be able to drive without your TC being engaged. The TC issues on my 07 G6 GT didn't give me an error code & my car still started. I don't believe that there are any more Pontiac dealers around anywhere so im not sure where you could go? My car is flashing a PCM error code for some reason now .. which isn't allowing me car to start. Im not sure what to do myself now. Hope i helped you some. Good luck
