Sprayed the mirrors to match the car. Makes a nice difference.

Looks good! I though about doing that with mine but the color of my car is so dark that it would be hard to notice so not sure if its worth doing

I think it wouldn't hurt. If a nice glossy clear coat is done it will distinguish it from the rest of the mirror housing seing that its almost a flat black.

Did you take the mirror off to do it or did you just tape it off and everything?

I taped it off & covered the carwith plastic bags.No problems. The prep was first clean the area painted with rubing alcohol or any other cleaner. Sanded the area with very fine paper (600). Cleaned the area again, then sprayed,then clearcoated.

It was a Dupli-Color GM silver. I'll get back with the exact code. The clear was also Dupli-color

I was thinking of taking the caps to add turn signals in the mirrors. LOL looks really good like the GXP mirrors.

I personally don't know but there is a guy on G6P that took his off to get them airbrushed with the letters G6 on them. I'd look around but being banned kinda limits my searching abilities

So I did some searching on G6P and was able to find how to do it. Not as easy as I thought, when i plan doing it ill take pics.
