I ment to post this a while back, but I haven't gotten around to it.

I just can't seem to get real comfy in the G6 seats. Anyone else having a similar problem? I have it adjusted as high up and tilted as far back as possible and I'm still not real comfortable in it. I'm pretty short (5' 8") so that may have something to do with it. I thought after a few weeks I would find a comfortable spot, but I haven't yet.

It almost seems like there isn't enough back support on the sides. *shrug* Maybe it's just me, but my mum's 96 T-bird is really comfy.

The seats were ok for me (5'9" 145lbs) but they aren't as comfy as my old Z seats

Actually, the seats fit me like a glove (5'10" 260lbs), and they fit my wife just as well (5'5" 130lbs).

Seats are adequate for me at 6'01" with the height cranked up, but aren't as comfortable as my Grand Prix trade-in. My biggest complaint is that the tilt wheel doesn't tilt high enough to keep me from having to rub it with my right leg exiting and entering the car.

It took me a while to get them comfortable, like 4 months actually (I'm 6'3"). But now that I have the positioning figured out it is excellent. I guess its just figuring out the right combination of adjustments for you and then rememebring about where you had everything set.

BOB G brings up a good point about the "tilt wheel". i'm at 6'2" and 275lbs (yes, i know i'm SLIGHTLY overweight) and i don't like the wheel position either. i wish they had the 'old style' TILT WHEEL where the WHEEL tilted and the steering column stayed put. it was alot easier to flip the wheel up to get out and flip it back down after getting in....So how about it, PONTIAC???? anybody at GM listening?????

They are *ok* for me. I just drove 5 hrs in 2 days and they are definitely not as comfortable as my Accord's seats were. The driver's side armrest thingy bothers me too...

^ The armrests in the G6 are complete crap, the hard plastic part of the window controls is right where my arm rests, and the center counsole is not long enough to be useful. As far as the seats go, I really like them- much better than the old Grand Am's.

Yeah definitely better than the Grand Ams and even the Grand Prix seats!
