I installed a aftermarket JVC radio since I like having bluetooth for my music anyway I got it all hooked up had to run the power to fuse panel but when I hit power on my radio even with no keys it comes on everything works I just have to remember to turn it off all the time will not turn off when shutting car off and opening the door like the old one.

I have it hooked to the radio fuse should it be hooked there or the ignition fuse I do know it says to wire to either fuse box or brown ignition wire
You can use the internal fuse box on the passenger side and if you don't have a seat warmer you can use that to power the radio when the key is moved into the "ACC" state of the turn. That's what I've done at least.
Are u using the pac gm11b, it would hook up directly into ur harness plug and play

I do not remember the connector I am using got it from walmart but it does say to hook to a fuse being the 2005 g6 uses a data wire to turn off and on the radio
I’m using the gm11b radio shuts off as soon as open the driver door like factory.
