Just wondering if anyone has ever routed a gps power cord through the dash and come out the top of the dash to plug into the gps so you dont have to plug into the cig lighter? I know with my last vehicle I would have had to mount an extra cig lighter behind the dash somewhere to do it, but not sure if the G6 is different?

Sweet thanks, that's exactly what I was looking for. Is there anything under the dash that I should make sure the cord isn't touching to avoid melting/shorting anything out?
