use cleaner fuel, like 91 or up
scheduled maintainence to keep the engine in good health
get the crabs, that will help you increase around 1 mpg
drive gently, try to avoild floor gas or sudden brake

70% city driving:

Almost as bad as the Jeep it replaced. Motherf$%^#@g cities in this area intentionally program the lights to slow people down (most roads in the heavily-populated city are 45-55 MPH limits). My 1-3/8 mile commute to work on 55MPH-rated roads takes 9 minutes average.

Tire pressure. If you often drive on the highway with the windows down then wind resistance plays a bigger role in mpg than the A/C.
IMO, keeping your car tuned, clean filters and tire pressure works best. Oh, something my wife hasn't learned, kept the car clean and as empty as possible.:D

well that explains it, i live on an island in the Caribbean called Curacao so ther's basicly no straight roads because ther's alot of hills.
so i wouldn't call tho's highways.

btw. good point about the wind resistance i didn't even tought about that, so it prob wouldn't make much of a diffrence with AC on !!!!

thanks for all the replys !!!!! :)
