i have a good feeling that i am starting to feel the brake rotors warped but not all the time. im only feeling them on long trips at high speeds. i also have noticed like the rotors after it rains they have like rust spots but will go away while driving. do you think if i take it to the dealer and they say they are warped would change them and put the cross drilled one instead of re-surfacing them if i told them

I've been noticing slight vibrations at higher speeds. But it's a range, I'm not sure exactly what speed. I think around 45 or so. It doesn't happen at like 60, and doesn't happen at low speeds.

I also get rust spots on the rotors when it rains, and I have seen other cars with them as well. I think that is normal.

The dealer won't put anything but oem replacement at best, they would probably just turn them. I'd have it done anyway, if it does again they'll give you new rotors eventually since they can't turn them more than a couple times.

The rust is normal, nothing you can do about that. It will go away as soon as you drive the car again anyway.

Yeah the rust is instant with the composite medal like wash your car and then look before you drive...rust will happen, i have the same issues with the rotors on my car as well i have almost 30,000 miles at this point, i have noticed from testing many diffrent braking techniques (could not think of a better word) and nottice that if i hard break once at all then the rest of the drive will fell wobaly during breaking like once the rotors heat up there crap, also try this out when u are slowly coming to a stop keep the same pressure going and u will be able to feel the warps like a really slow shaking? I am going to the dealer soon to get an engine betl squeal fixed i hope!
and i will also see if they can replace like the post above.

just came back from the dealer my front rotors were a little warped as i had suspected they just re-surfaced them. lets see how long it takes for it to happen again. then i'll change the rotors to either cross drilled or slotted which ever is better

Do yourself a favor...go here and order cross drilled and slotted rotors and the ceramic pads.Brake Rotors

The OEM rotors are too thin and putting cross drilled/slotted in combination with ceramic pads, will dissipate more heat and improve braking.

Just stick with the slotted, no need for both or cross drilled as they can crack. The oem's are what you would expect (well mostly) from a oem part. I say mostly because some oem stuff is great.
Those are Bendix rotors...I've only heard of lesser quality cracking...unless you are on a race circuit building up a lot of heat. But you could be right.

I've seen a few brands crack in person from other people, mostly the way the cheaper ones are made. Not all will but I was just throwing it out there. They were driven pretty hard but it was still in daily driving, those suckers heat up fast so no surprise the oem's can't stand up. But even a cheaper slotted rotor would be better than a cross drilled IMO.
