Caliper Paint Question

Just a quick question about cailper paint. I'm planning on doing mine but has anyone had any issues with the snow, salt and all that crap from the winter. Has it ruined the paint at all? Just curious, I don't want to paint them if the winter is just going to ruin it.

Caliper Painting

I intend to use the POR15 Caliper Painting Kit on my G6,
