Anyone have any experience with this cold air intake? Its cheap, so thats its appeal. I would invest in an aftermarket cone, such as K&N.

I think Ive seen one guy with it (a red one?)
but I think he dropped a cab in it for the heat.

5 couplers from the TBI to the filter is allot of weak points.

Who knows.....give it a shot and report your findings!

I installed a k&n intake and i can notice a slight improvement in response, it sounds a lot better when you put the pedal down as well.

I got an intake from Chrome Intakes on eBay for my cutty, Was pretty good, Nice solid polished aluminum, filter included. lasted years until I sold it with the car. Perfectly round, not all oval shaped and cheap looking.

I got an ebay intake for my G6... and it's a cheapo one originally for the cobalt (I have the 2.4 4l) It's not all polished and is oval mostly but it does the job quite nicely. I'm sure it'll work great for you, Though I would still recommend the CAB to keep the temps down by the filter...
