Crab Intakes?
are they good jw cause i have a coi and acording to some ppl on here they said they have had problems with the 1 i got and i havent so i was wondering if the crab was good cause i tryed the site and couldent rly look at the kits

It shows you the options available with pictures of what it comes with.
Also there is a tab up top that says Gallery. Thats pix of the intakes installed in customers cars.

Had a few questions for anyone who has installed the Crab Intake System in a 3.5L G6.
First, let me start of by saying this: I am a complete noob when it comes to automobiles. It would take me a good hour to change a flat tire. Chances are, I will pay someone to install the Crab Intake for me.
That being said--Is there anything that needs to be done after installing the new "Option 3" Crab Intake?
Am I going to run into any problems with the Computer after the install? (Probably sound like a moron on that one)
Any help/suggestions are very appreciated. (Take it easy on me! Eeeek!)

you really shouldnt have any problems...very easy to install. and you wont have to change anything after....just get in your car and enjoy.. Oh you might want to get rid of your intake resonator too.

Ah, good, good! Thank you for the quick response. Just needed that extra little positive feedback to push me over and click the "Buy Button". Haha!
One more thing though; Aside from MPG, HP and Sound--Did you notice your temps go down? It doesn't seem like your getting a lot of cool air to it, though I can't really tell from what I have seen. I'm sure there is something else in play I just haven't noticed.

I just put in my CRABS 2 days ago and man i LOVE it. Definetley gives you more kick when you step on the gas and gives my car a deeper rumble. Also, Im getting over 20 mpg city now, which i was getting 17 to 18 before. As for your question p0ultry, i noticed my temps stay down a little, but not very much. When i am driving for periods of over 30 mins, i dont really notice a difference in the temp from now to before. Hope this helps. (Buy CRABS now!)

I can show you a "How To" if you need it.
That will free up the air & lower the temps more.
* I dont recommend this with the stock intake. Leave it in on a stock box. It prevents water ingestion.
Its not needed with the Crab as it has a way for water to escape.
