My cruise control on/off switch on my 2006 G6 will not stay engaged. I've resorted to holding it down and then activating my cruise control in order to be able to maintain activation (I drive 60 miles each way every day to work...so Cruise Control is a must!).
Is this likely just the switch or is there a solenoid somewhere that keeps this switch activated? What needs to be done to replace the switch? I don't want to go tearing into it until I have an idea what I'm getting into.
