cruise control

Have replaced airbag in my 2007 g6. My stupid boyfriend replaced it and now when you push the cruise control button the radio plays and when you push the radio button the cruise control sets. Please help me to fix this and keep me from killing him. He is such an idiot, cute but an idiot.
