What should you use to do it, and afterwords do you need to touch up the paint??

Its hot here in Las Vegas.. so I was just able to peel mine off, then I used some goof off to remove the adhesive. you may want to warm them up first (hairdryer or heatgun). I recently heard of something called "ghost and haze remover" able to remove that image of your emblems that you can see in the direct sun light.

i used hair dryer and fishing line to help get it off i was unable to peel them. And i used good off. do the hair dryer till the trunk is hot then you should be good to go.

on my 06 gt i tried to take off the plastic bumpers on the doors and they have holes behind them, so if i removed the molding they would look like crap..... i wish there was a way to cover it up other than fill and repaint

That sucks!

Mine started falling of a little then got worse from getting in and out.

But it was covered under warranty. I do like the look of them gone and i have yet to save a ding from the stupid things it seem they go every where but there.

Only way besides fill and paint is 09 doors:banghead:

ya your right, they are not that bad... i mean on most cars they are usually freaking huge and some cheap plastic chrome or something
