My driver's seat doesn't have airbag attached underneath Is one with airbag underneath compatible can I use it?

None of the G6 drivers seats have an airbag underneath.
Some have an airbag in the side, but none underneath.

Mine doesn't have one. Can I use one that does as a replacement. Everything else is the same besides that.

None, meaning 0 percent have an airbag underneath.
I am not sure what you are seeing, but it isn't an airbag.
Logically, what would an airbag below a seat protect from?

Perhaps the OP means air bag SEAT OCCUPANT SENSOR?

Occupancy sensor is on passenger side. It uses logic to determine if seat is occupied, to arm passenger air bag.
Maybe OP means:

• seat with air bag in side
• seat with a whole mess of relays unlike the OPs

Airbag harnesses in circuit are usually bright yellow, if that helps.
I guess at the end of the day, if it bolts in, it will fit the purpose of sitting, so no matter what the option it wouldn't matter.

If you are talking about the Grey box that everything plugs into yes it dose. 2005-2009 Chevy, pontiac's are the same guts/sensors.
