Not even 3 months since i bought my G6 and what do you know....STUPID ENGINE LIGHT shows up...i havent done anything to the car, havent even got my first oil change yet. Anyone know what could be the cause???

a commen cause is the filler cap not being on tight enough.

But if it is due to that problem you would get a "Check Gas Cap" message in DIC because the fuel system would be detecting a massive "leak" so it is likely not that unless Slickdesi is getting that warning message as well.

didnt even kow the "Check gas cap" was a message.
