Just rolled 40K and over the past two weeks I have had a engine miss or cough when I am at speeds over 50 mph. Happened twice on the way home from work today. Kind of felt like it was a loss of fuel rather than a loss of spark. It was just for a second and the car gave a quick jerk and then continued running just fine. Anyone have a similar problem? I am going to try and stop tomorrow and see if the auto parts store can pull a code.

Yep, I have had the same issue.
I have a manual tranny and when getting on it a bit 3/4 way through 2nd gear I have the same problem. Took mine to the dealer and showed them with a mech riding in the car. They said "what problem" normal operation.
Recorded it with dash hawk and it looks like a VVT problem or ECM problem.
I had no fuel or spark issue (miss) but a timing rolled back.
I have no idea how to fix it.
It's an intermittant issue so I will have to deal with it.

Sorta like the engine looses about 50% power at about 3000 or 4000 RPM.
But only for a split second.
