I got my DIY tint film in the mail today all the way from Europe!

It's a company called FlyEyes Tint. A member from Forever Pontiac posted a link to a YouTube Video:

Now I thought it was a genius idea so I tried it out and it was WELL worth the $22 I paid!

Here are the pics:

I even have enough left over to do the 3rd tail light 2 more times! These guys rock!

I def recommend it!

I spotted some on eBay about an hour before I saw Mark's posting. In case the link thingy doesn't work, the seller's name is yishiau and they are asking $220 plus shipping.

So Mark, are these basically the same? And they the truly plug and play, with no problems with the turn signal flasher or DIC display messages?

Thanks guys! Yeah, those are the ones Matt. Yes they are plug and play with no problems. All you do is pull the bulbs out and the little white connectors just go in where the bulbs were. I love them, a whole different look.

Looks really good i messed up my one of my tails trying to re-tint them for like the 5 time LOL guess the 5th is lucky number

So anyways your pictures got me to purchase the lights i got the smoked ones hopefully they looks some what like yours after the tint i dont feel like messing with night shades anymore.

Oh wow, if I didn't just spend 700 bucks on tires, I would totally get those LED lights, so sweet. The FlyEyes tint is also very sick, must get!

Thanks for the info, ordered FlyEyes tint today. It'll be nice to see those big red globes toned down a bit.

Wow those look real sharp! I may have to copy and purchase some here soon myself. Anyone who has used these vs the VHT have a recommendation of one over the other?

BTW what shade did you all get? Debating on the Black (dark) or the smoked gray color

If I had the LED tails like Mark I would have got the medium tint to display them better. I decided to get the dark after seeing the different colors on FlyEyes' website and the amount of light that comes thru. It looked like enough light appeared thru the tint film that would allow drivers to see your tail lights.

Post some pics of the dark when you get them...Im trying to decide what color to get. It would be nice to compare.

I decided to go for the lighter color tint myself, I have the stock 09 lights so once I get them put on I will post pics. Says something about a week or so before they even have the product ready tho
