Okay guys ive had my 2007 G6 gt For about six months now and unfortunatly i was in an accident and i now need to replace the wheel liners and the lower air dam/splash guard, and also the front bumper. My question is i would like to put the 09 bumper on it but i can only find the bumper cover i cannot find the grill inserts and the foglights that would enable them to work with the 2009 bumper. Can anybody post some links to find these? and also would it just be cheaper to get the 07 bumper and get the recessed grill kit. i just dont like the normal lower grills that came on the car. I appreciate all advice.

Hell, I'd go with either an AIT or GXP bumper. I don't like either of the low-trim G6 bumpers. They just look cheap and don't really flow with the rest of the car.

I agree with that. the GXP bumper looks alot better than the 09

I agree GDP is the best looking but that's even more pricy$$ and even harder to find the grills. So what would my best option be if I went with an aftermarket style bumper is it simply bolt on or is there body work involved ? And also would it extend lower then the side skirts ?

There's no such thing as a bolt on aftermarket bumper, but I'd go with AIT. You'll have to cut it up a bit to make it fit right. As far as I know, it will not extend past the side skirts.

Okay how much work goes into making the AIT bumper fit. on a one to ten scale? I haven't done much for body work.

I've never had first hand experience installing an AIT bumper, but I've read through a few progression threads throughout the past few years that shows people installing one and I would say it might be a 6. In any case, I would pay a professional body shop to do the work for you.
