I realize this is an old thread but if anyone is still active, please help me out. My daughter just recently got this nightmare 2010 G6 2.4l FF and it is having the same intermittent Crank, no start problem. Just like the OP if I take the relay out and put it back in then jiggle the wires behind the fuse box, it will start right up. Has anyone been able to pinpoint the exact problem and explain the fix in detail so I can try to remedy this?

There are a few members who have noted cracks in the copper tracks that connect the fuse box internals. Usually this is affected by heat, so once everything cools down it will start again. The wiggling suggests some sort of intermittent connection. Some mentioned replacing the fuse box and I seem to remember someone soldering the broken joint.
Thank you for your response. Her next day off I will try to take the fuse box out and have a look at it. I've had 5 knee surgeries in the last 2 years and now I have a bad back. I thought my days of working on cars was over until my daughter recently moved back home and purchased this nightmare of a vehicle. She's pretty much stuck with it now so I'm trying to do what my body will allow to get it running halfway decent.
