I have a 07 g6 gtp 3.6. It started not cranking only when baking in the sun for a while. I took ecu, bcm and put them in freezer still no luck. I took apart the fuse block under the hood and used a tungsten carbide dremel to grind the flare of the flared connector nuts.
When I opened it I was presented with bare copper crimped to every terminal. Instead of checking each one, I soldered at the base of each one. I put it back together and now it seems to work. Incase anyone has this issue, that is what solved my problem.
I hope this will help someone else.
