G6 Sunroof Wind Deflector

Does anyone have the GM part number for the G6 Sunroof (not panoramic roof) Wind Deflector (tinted plastic thing that sits on the roof in front of the sunroof)? It comes standard as a dealer installed part on the G6 with sunroof.

I was told before that it was #22686578, and while it's listed as a deflector, it's not the WIND deflector.

I will see if we still have the paper. It sure cuts down on the noise! We put ours on Sunday. Dealer gave it to us. There was a paper inside the package that said Pontiac no longer charged for that, was free with all new G6's with sunroof.
TSB says P/N for complete kit is 15226947 but your P/N might just be for the deflector itself

Also TSB says that up to a certain VIN the air deflector was put in trunk of vehicle at factory and dealer was supposed to discuss with customer its purpose and whether they wanted it installed.

However after a certain VIN the part was no longer being put in trunk but instead is available to dealer based on request from customer or to fix a wind noise complaint. The kit and installation is covered under warranty.
e2helper,

Where do you get such details on TSB's?

So, if the warranty will cover the wind deflector in a G6 due to excessive wind noise, would it also apply to the Malibu Maxx since they share the same sunroof? :)
Luckily mine didn't come with one, if it did i would have had the dealership take it off before i even drove off the lot. It really takes away from the nice lines of the car.
^ The don't come on the cars with the panoramic roof, the first panel of that serves as a wind deflector by itself.
Here is the link and the TSB Number for the Malibu & Malibu Max 04-08-67-009. If you have a windnoise complaint the dealer should be able to take care of you.

Just get the measurements of the width and get the universal one from Autozone, they look sleeker than the ones from dealership.
4 years later you answer? lol
