I just took a trip from my home in WV to my sister's home in Dayton, OH and it was the first trip of over 60 miles that I have taken in the G6. I filled up and reset the trip computer and avg mpg etc. On my way there I averaged 30.9 mpg. Coming back, the only thing that I didn't reset was the avg mpg, which had dropped back to 28.5 with the few short drives that I had there. 3 hours into the return trip I hit 31.8 
---- WOW---- either way on the trip was the very best gas mileage that I have ever gotten on a trip with any car. I drove dead on the speed limit both ways btw. I guess the engine is finally breaking in (2300 miles now)
Curious about my second best? It was with a Chrysler Concorde and I got 27.2 with it ONE TIME, usually ran in the mid 26 range on a trip.
