I'm going for chrome just because i like the way they light up with the halos but so far im the only one getting chrome sooo haha Keep it going peeps I wanna get a super discount!!

Ray, we can change the DDM ballast into a H1 bulb though. I was thinking of taking my current DDM ballast I have and use it for my high beams.

i think you can change to an H1 Size, but not sure if the HID will cause any heat issue and stuff like that, but you can try.

yeah my ballasts are pretty much attached to my car, they arent coming off lol. i have one set of H1s just need an extra set, both sets will be 35w

Is good to save some money, try it out and let me know

A little upset

I just purchased a set of these lights and no where on the web site did it say you couldn't put HID's in them then when I opened them when they arrived it said HID use will void the warranty, and I already bought the HIDs from my local shop and they wont refund!!!! I even tried to install them and the hole is too small for the bulb to even fit, now I read this forum and now it says spyder installs them at the factory!!! I should get my money back from the web site I bought them from, I even told the Customer service guy I wanted to install HID's. Ray, what can I do??? and yes they are H1 bulb, 35w, 12000k.

WTF to the 12000k color temperature bulbs? What brand do you have? Why would you buy HID's from a local shop who probably sells the kits for 3x the price?

haha yeah thats how my high school was. i worked in a warehouse over the summer so nothing was restricted but we needed the inventory system on the computers so couldnt browse the web lol

First off, i don't know what company or website you bought it off from. I know there is a sticker for No HID allowed. Let me explain it for future confusion. These headlights are made oversea, is illegal to have HID in oversea countries. Plus they are using 50W instead of the one we special made 35W, thats why the sticker is needed for oversea countries for their DOT issues. We sold a lot of those in the first group buy and never had any problem. If i was the company who sold you the headlight, i will fully refund the amount for that. Just talk to them and resolve the case, good luck man!
