GXP front bumper on a GT???

Do you know where to get the front bumber for the gxp? that would be sweeeet to get for my car! because I bought it used, and i did not notice the horrible touch up job someone had done on the front bumper. :-(

If you buy the front bumper go to a dealership and see if you can order the grills that fit in the holes. They should have a way to get the grills since it is OE.
Try a body shop too. They may order you a bumper w/ the grills and get it painted and possibly give you a discount for going through them.

You can get the Bumper cover 400$~ and grills from Gm parts direct the grills will cost you 167$ and 57$ for the trim ring, for each side

I would however try to find one form a junkyard, look up certified auto recycling (www.barbersauto.net) call them !!!
I have used them Great people help me find some odds and ends for my bretta

Ya i would agree with finding one at the junkyard. Hard to find a complete bumper but would save you some big bucks. I been looking for 7 months (just in town) and havent found a stock front cover yet cuz they are smashed up lol. Best bet is to look outside your city/town like mjgonegm said. Visit some junkyard websites and they will ship the part to you.

I have noticed though when i see one they are REALLY TOTALED.....Are people with g's bad drivers? But it srsly took a few months to find a ss rear bumper for my pala when I called up C.A.R. for a cowl for my bretta they f'ing had and in the right color that sure would have saved me some cash. and FYI MACCO AIN"T CHEAP

Is there any other parts needed for the swap? Like parts underneath the bumper covers? I would like to do the rear bumper and side skirts also. I been looking at the Razzi Grnd effects kit. I don't know what is needed to do the complete OEM swap vs the Razzi swap and which is more cost effective. One thing is that I haven't seen, is a Razzi pic that shows the fog lamps installed and keeping the fog lamps is a must for me. The only thing behind that bupmer is foam..... and IMHO RAZZI just = No

just an FYI putting the GXP front/rear bumper aswell as the hood is 100% possible mj breaks the pricing down to a tee, I work at a GM dealership and have some pull there so lucky for my i swaped my front/rear bumper on two seprate cars and payed the extra for the grills. Me too.....just an FYI putting the GXP front/rear bumper aswell as the hood is 100% possible mj breaks the pricing down to a tee, I work at a GM dealership and have some pull there so lucky for my i swaped my front/rear bumper on two seprate cars and payed the extra for the grills. Are those shop prices or walk in the door prices? $2500 seems a bit high. Plus buying the hood. It's hard to justify spending that kind of money to make a look like something it isn't. Not to mention the value of the car drops daily,No matter what you do to it. I'm all about driving a nice looking car! As my avitar shows my 72 cutlass with only 58k on the clock. Seeing the dollar figure on paper is making me think twice now. I like having my money in the bank. I might go with the Razzi kit & the MPD ram air hood. I found the kit for $525 on the net. With the hood and paint I should be in around &1700. That's painting the parts my self. Unless I can find OEM LKQ parts. I deffinately like OEM better. Just not the cost factor. I want to retire someday!!

Did you have to replace the whole bumper behind the grille from the GT

Did you have to change the whole stock bumper from your GT because with the grille you will see i through?
my bad on the later response but I dont think i had to change anything with the bumper my body shop did it all. From what i remember they might have had to chance to absorbers or some jazz because they are a bit different but i dont think anything to do with the bumper.
btw im looking to trade in on an 09 G8 GT!!! GO ME!! lol
