Hey guys, havent posted for a while, weather has been bad so I was waiting to start up some projects. Last night me and my gf went to the movies and I drove her car. I noticed when you mash the accelerator to the floor (from a complete stop or while driving slow speeds) the G6 wants to hesitate when shifting. Say I'm at a stop and I mash the pedal, First gear runs up to 5,000rpm or so and just hangs there for a few seconds. Then, when it shift to second it makes this short squeeling noise and kinda jerks ya forward. Could it be the trans or something electronical??? Also I'm thinking its gonna need some new spark plugs, what mile intervels do you guys usually change them? Its got about 72,000 on her now? Any suggestions?

I just read around about the recalls on it. This car has had bad PO's so I'm guess they may have got the recally, but never got it fixed or something. Is there anyway to fix it or is it major surgery

Mine is doing the exact same thing .. exact same!! And only on the slow or from a complete stop like leaving my house in the morning and coming ot of the drive way or from a red light etc... I'm at 33,000 miles and under extended warranty... I'm going to take it in and get it checked out...

the sequel is the "fan belt" suddenly slowing down and slipping because of the sudden decrease in RPM "shift". The way it is designed is to run one direction because of the tentioner. It does not grip as well when a force pushing the opposite direction. Momentum..

Hi everyone... well they have had my car since Saturday morning... this afternoon they said that they found a LOT of debris in the transmission pan and it could be a bad valve... no real idea what that means lol... they needed my permission to open up the transmission to do further diagnosis... extended warranty is covering it... they said there is definately a problem .. I will post once I have more info... my car is 06 GTP at 33,000 miles
