Ouch, the Helm manuals are $150 printed and $400 for the DVD! I'd prefer to have the manual digitally (nice to bring up on the laptop or carputer) but not for that price. Mind you there's about 46 different models covered on the DVD. Too bad they can't break out the file for the G6 separately. I paid $135 for my single-year Jeep CD, same price as the printed manual, and would pay the same price (somewhat grudgingly) for the G6.

Oh, and nice revival of an old thread.

I was surprised to find that Helm still has these available. Kind of spendy, but available.
Cheaper than the FleaBay vendors, even.

Except the 2010 is "out of stock". Anyone know if the 2009 Helm manual covers the 2009.5 "rework"?

Barring that, does anyone have a 2010 Helm manual for sale?

This is an old thread but i figured i'd post my question here. I'm looking to purchase a repair manual for my 08 G6. I just put $1200 in tires and new rims on her i plan on driving it till 200K if she makes it that far. Currently, what is the most reliable repair manual for a reasonable price? I'm not looking to rebuild the engine or tranny , just more than basic repairs like hub assemblies, sensors, brakes, tie rods ect. I'd also like a manual that has a decent set of schematics for systems like ABS, Emission ect. I'm cool with paperback or even an online or app based version. Any ideas? Thanks

I have both the Haynes and Chilton and they are exactly the same.. and I also use all data. Which I found out the hard way that all they're info isn't always right. so I actually cross reference to the books when doing anything. The other option in the three book factory manual set. They show up in ebay every once in a while for abound 150.00
