anyone else that has HIDS have the low beam metal headlight cover thing come off? Well mine did it just fell off, but i had my HIDS on for 8 hours straight driving home and they give off alittle heat. I was wondering do you know if the headlight is one assembly or is there a way to get this fixed. Warranty is out they cant do anything not only that headlight mods. lol Im thinking bout when I get them painted on the inside the same color as my car that i will fix that i just dont know yet? Anyone got any advice?

Hmmmmm...

HID's give off less heat than regular bulbs..... got any pics? I'm not 100% sure what you're talking about.

P.S. This is a good excuse to get new projector headlights

and yes I know this is an year old...... Still has no answers.

Depending on the year of the car you should b able to just take them apart and put that piece back into place, unless something broke. If you are going to paint the bezels then that would be a great time to fix it!

ya before the 07 year you can take those headlights apart.

Your talking about that thingy that sits in front of the bulb right? It looks kinda like a "cover" but its not.

I hope mine doesnt just fall apart lol.

Justin, i sent that ballast back with a letter to that guy. He never responded to my emails so i sent the thing back hoping to get an exchange. We will see. Check out my thread i just started on my car.
